Boys and height - when do they stop growing?

My daughters both stopped growing around 14 having hugely slowed down growing around 13.

My son is 13 and an half and much shorter than I would have expected based on family heights. Is he likely to grow significantly more at this age?

Girls usually stop growing within 2 years of starting periods. Boys keep growing much longer. I know boys who were still growing at 17.

I think until they are 21.

Ooh he’s still got years left of growing yet! Definitely until 17 or 18 at least I’d say. My son is 21 and every time he comes back from uni for the holidays he seems to have grown even more!
Once puberty starts, most boys seem to have a growth spurt when they shoot up so quickly. My son even developed stretch marks on his back at around 15 due to growing so quickly (apparently very common in boys).

Oh he's plenty of time yet! Ds was fairly short at that age, 6ft at 15 now and still going!

About 22

Where is he on the puberty scale? Armpit hair, BO, deep voice etc or not? That will also determine if he's already had his massive growth spurt or not

My ds hit puberty in year 8 and stopped growing in year 10.

My DS had a huge growth spurt around 14. Before then he was normal height, same as his peers. Hoping he’s stopped now at 19 as he’s 6’4”. He’s starting to fill out a little now and tbh I can’t reach to measure his height any more!

At least 16 - most don’t finish growing until 18 and can even carry on until 21! They will also continue to fill out through their early 20s
