What cream will help me? Urgent

I’m in hospital after an operation that’s gone very wrong. I’m having daily dressing changes and I’m highly allergic to the adhesive of the dressings. I’ve asked for a barrier cream but it needs to be prescribed and it’s been 3 days and no one has done it so I’m going to send DH with a list of things to buy today. Please help me. The scratches are where the skin has actually come away when they changed the dressing.

My treatment has been really hit and miss. This feels like the last thing in a string of shit things. For example; I’m on antipsychotics and a really potent antidepressant (venlafaxine) that needs to be taken on time every day and if you miss it even by an hour you start withdrawal. The pharmacist came to see me and removed my own supply of medication as it’s high risk for od, fine whatever. Then that night the night nurse couldn’t find the medication and ‘didn’t have time’ to chase it up so just didn’t give it to me, meaning I started withdrawing from my medication. I had surgery the next day and when I came back I asked if the day nurse had managed to order the medication so I don’t have to continue withdrawing and she said ’oh this? Yeah it’s been in the drugs trolley since yesterday don’t know why you didn’t get it last night’ I just burst into tears.

anyway!! Rash !! Please help !

Just a warning not to use the E45, it really burns on any broken skin. Hope you've had better care with your drugs today.

Total thyroidectomy with a failed drain so emergency surgery 24 hours later to fit a second drain. Then it was removed and I was sent home for 5 days then I developed a seroma and a neck abscess so needed yet another operation to fit a 3rd drain, currently still in hospital having daily dressing changes because the drain will only work if in a specific position and it leaks a bit. Also on iv antibiotics to deal with the sepsis and abscess

Oh lord you’ve been through the mill! Can they give you a steroid cream?
