A slightly hypothetical situation because it depends on me actually doing something about it all and I may decide to leave as is, but;
Adult DS1 is about to move out, to live with GF. I hope they'll be happy ever after, but you never know. Also, they'll be living several hours away so if they're to visit I'll need space for them to stay. He currently has bedroom 2 which as a small double bed.
Adult DS2 shows no signs of leaving ever. He's no bother and pays his way. He has bedroom 3 , which is a decent sized single.
I have the master and the box room which I use as a study for wfh.
DS2 also uses a downstairs study, mostly used for gaming - a legacy from when he was younger and I wouldn't allow the consoles etc in bedrooms..
This all coinsides with feeling that maybe I'd like to live with DP. He would also need space to wfh.
How would you allocate rooms?
The downstairs stud could accommodate a sofa bed as well as a workspace.
DS1's current room is the only one, apart from mine, that can accommodate a double bed but it seems daft to keep it empty for a handful of nights a year.
WWYD?
