Foster cat

We are getting a foster cat next week, and am looking for advice on what I can do to maximise her chances on being adopted? Obviously, the rescue will keep showing her on their social media, but they’ve been doing that for 3 years and she has never had any interest in her. She has been in a cage for that entire time 😔

Has anyone fostered before and knows of any ways I can maximise her chances? She can only be kept in my spare room so it’s not a great long term solution, but better than being in a cage and will get her used to living in a home (as she’s been in rescue since 3 months old so never lived in a home before)

No advice OP, but thank you for taking her in. What a heartbreaking story - poor little thing.

Hope she finds her forever home soon, and so glad she’s got you in the meantime.

We need cat tax before we can advise…

How can a cat ‘rescue’ keep a cat in a cage for 3 years? So cruel.

Such a beautiful cat. Sadly as a) I’m in France and b) I have a very cat-averse rescue cat 🐈 I can’t offer practical help or advice but just wanted to say thank you for giving this lovely girl some respite from a cage.
