Magnesium patches

I've had to stop HRT and am not really noticing much difference, except for sleep. I go off OK but wake up, often sweating at 4am, every day without fail.

I've tried Magnesium Glyconate, 3x 500mg (= 300mg magnesium) but it doesn't seem to make any difference, except perhaps causing headaches!

I heard patches are a good option. Does anyone have any experience or recommendations?

Have you tried an Epsom salt bath before bed?

I don’t think magnesium helps with hot flashes does it? It’s more to relax muscles.

It's supposed to help sleep and prevent the 4am waking.

Magnesium GLYCINATE is meant to aid muscle aches and sleep. I bought these as I was suffering from leg cramps and was low on magnesium following a blood test. Unfortunately they didn't suit my digestive system and I now use spray which is helping. I'm post menopausal so am unable to comment on the hot flushes.

Yes, I've been taking Magnesium Glycinate. I sleep well until 4am, which is a common issue for menopausal women.
