George and Evie pig

Random conversation with family and wondering why everyone else in Peppa pig land has a first name that starts with the same letter as their surname/ animal type (eg Peppa pig, Rebecca rabbit, Emily elephant) but George and Evie pig are given random names with random letters 🧐

(clearly it’s a slow day for me and my 2 year old but please enlighten me if you know the answer!)

Because peppa is the pig. Peppa pig, Peter pig and poppy pig would be too much 😂

There is Chloe and Alexander pig as well.

But they have Emily and Edmund elephant
and Rebecca and Richard rabbit recently had twins called rosie and something else with R…

The couldn't think of many P names that they liked 🤔

So just the pig family being rebels then 😋

Mummy Pig is obviously an MNer, and was told on the Baby Name forum that she couldn't possibly have too matchy-match names.

Like how Postman Pat has red hair....so do a considerable amount of children in the village 🤔🤔🤔🤔
I remember over analysing an episode of SpongeBob where that tiny character tried to sue the burger bar because he slipped on water on the floor....but the whole thing takes place in the sea 😂
