Does anyone know if I can get a chargeback on this?

I ordered a month ago from b&q. Large outdoor pots.

I saw after delivery one was cracked. Then I realised the other wasn't going to be suitable for long term.

I got in touch with customer services for a return and refund. I don't own a car so can't drive into the shop in the city.

Customer services replied back to me and told me that it came from another b&q location and they have been informed and please wait 48-72 hours for a collection confirmation.

So that is 2 to 3 working days.

There was no response after that time.

I contacted customer service again.

I was told the same thing again. They escalated it to the store and to wait 48+72 hours for a response about a collection.

Again this wasn't honoured.

I emailed customer service again a few days ago requiring about a return and to please provide a collection date by end of Wednesday the 5th of November.

This was ignored.

Yesterday I got a notification from a UK about a delivery but I am not sure what this is. I presume maybe it's for collection but I have no details whatsoever.

My email was responded to this morning from b&q and they just pretty much told me the same thing as before but in different words. It's been escalated to a particular store and they will be in touch with you.

This is bullshit. I have been 2 and half weeks trying to organise a return and collection. It doesn't take this long.

Would I be successful for a chargeback with the bank?

You can try but nothing is guaranteed with chargeback, as it’s a volunteer scheme, and each case is assessed on its merits.
