Best breakfast tea

So I decided to go back to loose leaf tea - cut the microplastics and tea leaf powder. Invested in a tea cup metal pot.

so far I have tried Sainsbury English breakfast and Darjeeling both fine although the latter is an afternoon tea to me , and twinning English breakfast - hugely disappointing

any recommendations as to nice breakfast teas especially as Christmas approaches ? With a little oomph. 🙏

brew tea co are the best i’ve found. they do loose leaf and also tea bags for convenience. it’s not the cheapest but really tasty tea!

Waitrose no. 1 Darjeeling is a lovely loose leaf tea and I have a pot every morning. Their loose leaf assam is nice if you prefer stronger. I use the metal ball on tongs (not sure how to describe) as it’s super easy- scoop up a little tea, it clicks itself shut, put into pot and then once finished, I just open it and tap it into the compost bin.
