1 night in Cotswolds where should we go: great high street independent shops and good pubs

Where should we go ...I'd love cosy town or village with good browsing shops and excellent cholesterol puns...

Broadway, we have stayed in the Abbots Grange hotel a few times, last time we had one of their outside barn rooms as it was a birthday treat and it was lovely. Christmas decs were up, glass of fizz on arrival, tea and cake by their open fire. We had snow and it was magical.

Next time though I’d like to try a different village but Broadway has lots of things in walking distance.

Tetbury is lovely, or one of the Slaughters to stay, then head to Bourton-on-the-Water (all in Gloucestershire)

I second Tetbury. Has what you're looking for. Westonburt Arboretum nearby is lovely for a walk.
