Carers support payment and temporary work?

I have been offered a seasonal job but it’s 16 hours and I can only work 15 and still claim CSP. Does anyone know if I can just end the claim and then make a new one once the job ends?

You can.... but it might take time to get your Carer's allowance back.
However, give them a ring and ask. I did once, and got a really helpful lady who discussed ways of offsetting the tiny bit extra so I didn't lose carers. (I did cancel anyway as I was hoping to work more long term)
When I had to go back to working fewer hours due to my son's needs it was straightforward to re claim, but took a few weeks.

Thank you, I’m going to call them and ask as I hadn’t realised the offsetting aspect might just be enough to bring the income down below that threshold. I do want the job but the difference between 15 hours + carers and 16 hours without it is quite a drop.

Just wanted to update that when I called I was told there is a way a claim can be kept open but the claimant not be eligible for a payment and it can be for up to six months. All I need to do is keep them up to date with it all and I should be ok to do a bit of work over Christmas.
