Do these look like chicken pox?

There was an outbreak of chicken pox in DDs school the week before half term. She hasn't had it yet but had seemed to avoid it. I noticed these on the back of her neck last night. There are no more anywhere else this morning but she has a slightly raised temp and says she feels sick.

I feel like if there were chicken pox she would have more of them? Or can they just get a couple of spots? Can't decide if I need to keep her off school or not!! Any advice would be welcome!

Can’t see the picture but given you know there was pox at school and she was exposed and she now has fever and spots I’d say keep her home and in loose clothing. DO NOT give her ibuprofen or anything with that in. If it’s pox they will multiply by tomorrow.

Can’t see the pic yet. When my dd got them she started with just a couple on the back of her neck in the morning. She had a little temp as well. I kept her off just incase. The following morning she had a few more. By the next day they were all over her

As others have said, if chicken pox was doing the rounds then it’s likely DC will have chicken pox. I’d keen them off school. My DS only had a few spots until I put him in the bath and the rest seemed to appear out of nowhere!
