Audiobooks for older kids?

DD almost 10 loves audiobooks and listens via audible on either my phone or the family tablet. I don’t really want either in her room. I’ve looked at Yoto but scant pickings for her age, she’s read all HP, Percy Jackson, ones I think would be on it. Not sure it would be worth it. Any ideas that don’t leave her with internet in her bedroom?

Does your local library still have talking books on cd? That way you can just buy an old fashioned cd player and away you go. DD listened to talking Enid Blyton and Roald Dahl for years.

Oooh that’s an interesting idea! We bought them mp3 players a while ago and dd retreated to her room more than I’d like for her age and some weird stuff got suggested to her on Spotify - I was relieved when she broke it tbh! Kept saying I wish we still had Walkmans!
