The plague has hit our house!

I had a terrible cold/flu illness last week which meant we had to come home from holidays. The day after we arrived home Husband got sick but obviously worse than me. Now all three children are ill.

I mean in bed coughing temps over 40 really unwell. I’m only getting over this thing now and all my energy is spent running between them
with drinks and temp guns!

The two youngest aren’t sleeping because of the cough. Can anyone recommend a good cough bottle! Thanks. X

Nurofen cold and flu.
Ginger and lemon broth / tea
Vicks vaporub
Steaming with towel over head
Rest and plenty of fluids

Piriton is good for subduing a phelmgy cough, especially overnight. Bronchostop is a good one too

We also have it, sending sympathy and tissues!

I’m 7 days in, Dh day 3. We don’t have small dc but really feel for you having to be mummy and unwell.

What the hell is it? I wasn’t this ill with COVID!
