I’m sitting in peace eating banana,honey with cinnamon on toast.
DD12 is walked down to go surfing with her friends
DS10 cycled to rugby training

the washing machine is on 🙌

what about you?

dc are still in bed, dh is sitting drinking tea and watching some telly, I had a swim first thing and came back for a scalding hot shower to warm up and am now lying in bed with my heated blanket on.
We are going out for an early birthday dinner for a dc birthday later on.
But for now, it’s very peaceful here!

Just had breakfast, toast from the bread I made yesterday. I’m just sat with a coffee before I prep my soup and compote for the week. I’m going to make an apple and blackberry compote to add to my yoghurt for breakfast in the week 😋

Oooh off I go to look up a compote recipe ❤️🙌

Still lazing in bed. Going to DD1s later for a Day of the Dead celebration.

Just been for a run. DH on a bike ride and DS still lounging in bed. We're all going to a nature reserve for a wander this afternoon, make the most of the weather.

I just stew down the fruit. Not sure it’s technically a compote but what I’m going to do with the apple and blackberry is stew the apples with a little cinnamon and some honey, and stew down the blackberries separately. I’ll then pass the blackberries through a sieve to get rid of the seeds!

I have no idea what to do for the day, I kinda want to chill to be honest 😂
