Anyone lost an otter in Edinburgh?

Found a lovely otter soft toy on the pavement this morning - blowing a gale and about to rain, so I rescued it. I'll hand it in to a local shop tomorrow, but if anyone's lost one, let me know!

Where abouts in Edinburgh are you? Gorgie/saughton has famous otters so if youre near there post on Shandon share, Slateford share or gorgie/dalry neighbours. It may belong to a wee fan.

Sadly I'm in Newington, a long way from the Water of Leith, but thanks everyone for the helpful suggestions. There's a local parents WhatApp group and also a neighbourhood Facebook group I didn't know about, so fingers crossed for a happy reunion. 🐾 Apparently there are otters in Alnwickhill and Blackford now - can't have too many!

Hope you manage to reunite it with its owner! The meadows chat on FB might be a good shout or you could join Egg if you're not on it and check there. Good luck! I'm strangely invested in this!

I’ll update if any outcome. Meadows fb is a very good idea but Egg is a new one, all this is really expanding my techy awareness!
