Save my Sunday

I'm feeling a bit down today, and I'm not really sure why.

Today I've been on a nice walk with my husband and had my favourite dinner. I have no reason to feel down.

The weather looks pretty horrible tomorrow. Does anyone have suggestions on what we should do tomorrow? We are in a small town, don't need to go out though. No kids.

Thanks for reading my pity party.

Lunch out then late Afternoon cinema showing would be my choice

Do You take vitamin d? Might be the darkness that’s bringing you down.
If you want to stay in, listen to music, cook some nice food, watch a film, read a book, catch up with some friends.

First thing I do on a weekend morning is make myself a coffee in my cafetiere as I love the ritual of it.

I would also make sure to have an everything shower. I did mine this morning as I always do one at the weekend and it makes me feel so much better. I stick on a podcast or some music and lock myself in the bathroom for me-time. Do a hair mask, a body scrub, shave, body lotion, foot cream afterwards etc....the works.

Book a roast somewhere and have a leisurely Sunday lunch in a pretty pub.

Get into your pyjamas or comfy clothes when you get home and spend the rest of the afternoon reading a good book.

Make a Christmas cake! It’ll smell gorgeous and you can drink the booze. One for the fruit and one for you 😉

This is a lovely thread. I hope some of the ideas help you, @Weekendsads . I’ve been feeling a bit wobbly too. Could it be the clocks going back? Anyway, I’ve decided tomorrow my non-negotiables will be journalling in the morning, and not checking my phone all day. Those two things in combination often really help me. Have a lovely Sunday and tell us how you get on!

Nobody on here really knows what options are available for your Sunday entertainment. Confused
But if it helps, I'll be cleaning my kitchen floor and making soup.

Thank you for the replies. I read them last night and took them on board. Had a chilled day away from my phone, then went on a walk and picked up a little treat. Feeling much better than yesterday and really appreciate the posts. I hope you all had lovely Sundays!
