Were You Very Young When You Got Together With Your DH/DP?

I didn’t meet DH until I was in my mid 30s but DD16 (17 in December) has already had several serious conversations about the future with her GF17 ( 18 in June). They’ve talked about careers, when & how to have children, where they’re going to live etc etc. I have friends who met their partners really young & got married in their late teens or early twenties. It’s funny to think that I have been married for 23 years & a friend the same age is heading for her Ruby wedding anniversary next year.

16/17. Early 30s now. Good years but scary to see how quickly time passes

Met when I was 17 and DH was 19. Married at 21 and 23, still together 48 years later

@MarmaladeSandwich7 let them dream together - I think couples that dream together are more likely to stay together - that's something we have never stopped doing - I think as soon as you settle for what you already in life and stop trying to continually breathe new life into your relationship and life - you stop growing as a couple and as individuals - it's very healthy to dream up plans and think about the future - especially when you bounce ideas around together.
