I’m full of steak & ale pie, double cream mash, peas & gravy. Been really wobbly all day & now wonder if some of it was hunger. Catching up with Corrie & Emmerdale. The bunnies are in, although there haven’t been any fireworks, so I will need to sweep up all the poo! DD16 & her GF are supposed to be baking (red velvet cake) but reckon they’ll do it in the morning. DD is so much happier than with her toxic ex. It’s heartwarming ❤️

Just back from town with ND teenager who at 17 still wanted to trick or treat. She met her new college friend also ND they walk around chatting minimum sweets as they didn't want to talk to people.
Dh and I went to the pub had food and drinks and back home by 930.
Good evening so far.

I went to my tap dancing class earlier which was fun leaving DH happily ensconced on the sofa with Sky Sports. Came home in the rain and hopped in the shower while DH did wild boar burgers and chips, and then we've just watched a couple of episodes of an interesting Ross Kemp documentary about the Mafia's links to the UK. My legs are really starting to ache now so I think I will head to bed with my book and a mug of Ovaltine😁.

Delighted that there's an almighty storm raging outside. Why? Because it means no fireworks at midnight which means no elderly horses freaking out. Instead they are under the shelter munching happily.

Sleep well all!

We have been drinking wine, eating pizza, watching wall e and laughing at photos of adult dc in fancy dress at various events.

We don’t get fire works near us but do get ghost hunts which drive the dog mad.

DD and I are staying with my lovely brother and his wife, who both love Halloween so they made a real effort decorating the house, and cooked us a really nice meal. Then we all watched a horror film together! One of the best Halloweens I have ever had I think (not that intend to keep a record or anything.....)

catching up on telly - BakeOff, Traitors and then HIGNFY and Last Leg live. Revelling in my hair, back to its proper pixie length after 3 years. Remembering how smooth Bowmore is (and possibly indulging a little too much, we tend to egg each other on) Now spending a significant amount of brain power trying to think of a formal way of saying egg each other on...
