How do I stop my carpet walking?

Help!! Has anyone found a guaranteed way to stop carpets walking? We have a thin faux silk rug on top of a wool fitted carpet and it’s becoming a major trip hazard.

I have tried carpet stickers from Amazon which did nothing, and also a ‘guaranteed to work’ rubber and felt underlay. Is there anything that will do what is needed?

Do you mean the rug or carpet is moving. I’d assume the rug but your title says carpet.

probably need a heavier rug, I don’t think the rubber underlay mats will help on carpet.
