Need a new front door

Hello

Need a new front door. Went onto a composite website and the quote was over £1700. For what looked like a simple door.

Anyone recommend a more affordable foor company, I am in Scotland. I want a solid door. One we have now is an old uvpc and it feels quite flimsy. We live in a flat and its not soundproof at all either.

I had a quote similar to yours and couldn't believe how expensive it was.

In the end I bought a door direct from Bradford's Building Supplies (online and delivered) then found a local door fitter through local social media. Great chap, came and fitted it in a morning.

All in I spent less than half the original quote.
