I hate my job.

I’m not very good at it, it bores me to death and I find the whole industry so frustrating and bleak. I’m not even earning good money!

What do you do for a living if you like it? And what is it you like about it? I need some inspiration because I feel so lost.

im willing to retain (again) at 40 if I have to. I’m currently in financial services sat at a desk or at home all day surrounded by rich blokes who live for the “deal” and it’s unbelievably dull.

Pharma sales. Absolutely vile. Incompetent management. Soul destroying. Been here 20 years plus. Leaving soon thank god.

PA carer here. I love and loathe my job. In today’s society I can’t voice my thoughts or feelings but I would say it’s a mix of clients who need genuine care and often struggle to get it and seeing others who have made a carer out of it and don’t actually need me and I’ll let you guess who treats me with respect out of the two.

Business Development in a law firm. Mostly love it with the occasional dickhead to deal with. I have the option to wfh but choose the office. I feel exceptionally fortunate. I am early 50s and started in this industry about 3 years ago having moved from another financial services industry.

Looking for a part-time job at the moment. At the stage where money isn't everything. I do enjoy the customer contact and training side of my job.

Legal auditor. It’s okay as a job. I went for it as I got made redundant and knew my current employer is a good one.

Lawyer. Love my current job but it’s a tough industry and I’ve worked in nightmarish conditions in the past. It gets easier as you get more senior but I would not go back to the beginning again!
