Has anyone tried Make Waves refillable antiperspirant?

Saw this today but haven't heard much about it, is a refillable deodorant like Fussy etc but it's also an antiperspirant as well (if you choose that option) which fussy and other aren't. So I'm curious. Has anyone tried it? Is it any good?

Yes. I was using Wild then it was bought by Unilever, so thought I'd try make waves. I bought the starter pack but accidentally chose quite a 'blokey' smell.
I don't mind that much. It seems to be doing the job. It's less claggy than Wild, too.

Yes, I'm getting on fine with it. The scent is pleasant, mine is an orangey kinda of smell!

I didn’t like Wild as it spread all over the dispenser. Make waves is great tho’. Been using it for a while and really like it.

I’ve been using it for months and months. I think it’s great! Anti perspirant rather than deodorant which is what I need

HobnobsChoice · 30/10/2025 10:07

Yes I switched from Wild too (didn't know they had been bought but explains why they are in supermarkets etc). Really effective although I can't use the coconut one as it irritated my skin. The sandalwood one is lovely though

This is sounding promising, is it effective as an antiperspirant? Does it leave marks on clothes?

I found it left a greasy residue on the underarms of my clothes. Maybe I was using too much? Have stopped using it just now (it was an antiperspirant one)

SheilaFentiman · 30/10/2025 11:02

Mine hasn't left marks on clothes.

I switched from Wild, absolutely no complaints from me.

HundredMilesAnHour · 30/10/2025 11:09

I’ve been using it for a year or so. I really like it. Much better than Fussy.

It’s never left any marks on my clothes but I am also quite careful when putting any anti-perspirant on through sheer force of years of habit at avoiding marks.

At first I found changing the refills a bit fiddly but I’ve got the hang of it now and it’s actually very straightforward.

I’ve been using the antiperspirant version for a couple of weeks. Most importantly it works. It goes on very smoothly and doesn’t leave marks on clothes. Limited fragrances available so far but the ones I ordered are very nice. The case is a perfect size to pop in my handbag though to be fair I haven’t needed to top up during the day. Can’t comment on the deodorant version.
