How many people from uni are you still friends with ? And how old are you?

only 4 here at late 40s but string friendships that have lasted over 2 decades so feel secure and see often

Friends from uni = 0….i didn’t go to uni! Am I still allowed on here?

I went to uni in the 90s and have one very close friend from there and another lovely friend, who I lived with there and had known from before. I don’t see her as often, but I think and hope we will always be friends.
One of my best friends has been my friend since we were 2, but most of my friendships have developed from working with people.

Graduated 1996. Have 5-10 good friends plus probably another 20 I could message for a drink if I happened to be in their town. It helped that we mostly moved to London after graduation and a lot of us flat shared so we remained in each other’s physical vicinity for at least another 5 or so years.

I was friends with quite a few people from uni and school until well into my 30s. Then I had a profoundly disabled child and they all drifted away….

@PortSalutPlease that sounds really disappointing. I hope you have got friends who understand and can support you.

Went to uni in 90's. Still in contact with about 30 friends - most of whom made it to our Silver Wedding party last year (met DH in my 2nd year). We see 16 of them regularly - it helps that we're all still living in or around the uni city - we weren't all close friends when we were actually studying there, (I was close friend with maybe 10 of group backthen) but none of us went home and so we have become closer over the years as we were all still here and had shared memories of the same period / events.

One from undergrad and 0 from postgrad. Did my masters whilst working and although I’m not in touch with any fellow students I’m still very close to ex colleagues from that period.
