Did anyone go to see it? I saw it this evening. It made me wish that they were playing live again soon. Still love them as much as I did when I was 15!

I went to school in Basildon too @Blanketfull but sadly not the same school as any of Depeche Mode. I did used to see them walking around the town centre though when I was bunking off school in the early 80s!

I saw it on Tuesday with DH. The performance bits were fabulous but I felt they could have done more with the Mexican death rituals stuff. Not complaining too much though. They are a fantastic live band. We saw them fairly recently and were blown away by how great they were. Took us right back to the time we met.

I went last week and loved it! It was tough having to sit through the music- I was singing along in my head. I did think there would be more of an atmosphere in the cinema, but most of the audience looked as if they were watching a film- very little head nodding/ toe tapping and definitely no arm waving!
I enjoyed the bits in between the music, but it took me a while to process the writing.
It was great to see Dave and Martin up close, as they are usually just dots in the distance when I see them live! Dave is such a fab frontman- such a great singer and mover. I could watch him strut his stuff for hours. It was so good to see them enjoying themselves on stage. Makes me hope other will tour again (although with the whole album and film being death/endings focused I have convinced myself they were saying goodbye 😕).
They need to do at least one more tour so my kids can see them live 😆
