Pop out screen

Really boring question but I can’t figure it out.

i want to watch a YouTube video on a pop out screen so I can watch it while referring to something else on a different screen - are you able to do this?

When using a browser: when I select the pop out option (two slanted arrows) nothing happens and it reverts to in screen again.

When using the app: no such option exists

I can use pop out fine with other apps (Spotify).

I wonder if when they started offering subscriptions they made it a subscription-only feature? If you google 'YouTube Floating Window Picture in Picture' there are several tutorials that come up that might be worth a try?

I think you’re right, they must have changed it as a premium feature. Damn!

I'm surprised it doesn’t say upgrade on order to use this feature though. Well, I won’t be so never mind.

Netflix did the same!
