pregnancy test before period?

has anyone ever tested 4 days before period on a normal pregnancy test? i bough a normal by mistake and now not sure if i would waste it or if its ok to try now ?

Just wait until your period is due. You'll save yourself squinting at what might or might not be a line. The longer you wait the clearer the result will be.
