Chicken is it safe still?

So I’ve had 3 chicken breasts defrosting on the side in some cold water since about 2ish, still not ready. If I put them back in the fridge now will they be okay for tomorrows tea ?

Yes

Just take them out of the water and dry them off and put in fridge and yeah, they will be defrosted by tomorrow evening.

Have you been changing the water? It will now be only a fraction above freezing, and not helping with the defrosting at all.
