One early evening in Glasgow

I will be with my 5 year old finishing an activity around 4 and looking for an early evening meal, but since we’ve never seen Glasgow which area should we head to to get a nice feel for the city - albeit only a few hours?

Anywhere in the centre near either Buchanan Street bus station or Central/Queen street Station. Central Glasgow is in straightforward blocks so it’s very easy to navigate.
