Anyone for a what are you doing with half term thread?

I'm on the train to Leeds with dd2, we're off to the Thackaray Museum of Medicine, today. We'll get some lunch somewhere in the city then the bus to the museum.

The rest of the week, apart from Thursday, dd has plans to go into school to the revision sessions they're offering.

I'm off to London on Thursday, for the weekend, to visit dd1 again and attend two gigs...both in fancy dress <sigh>. We won the tickets for Saturday's in an Instagram competition 🥳.

We'll finish off half term on Monday with a smaller gig in Sheffield, for me and dd2. We'll probably eat out beforehand.

Kids have swimming lessons booked for most of the week, a place near us train swim instructors and were offering blocks of lessons for absolute steal, so the training teachers can get experience. £16 for 4 hours lessons and there's nearly as many teachers as kids.

We've had DS's birthday party this weekend, and a trip to the museum. Will probably have to do Halloween decorations and trick or treating, then possibly a fireworks display next weekend.

DH, DS1 and I will go to work as normal. DS2 will apparently be revising in amongst playing Xbox and eating all my food.

My first half term with no children at home - struck me today. Hope you all have an amazing time with your kids!
