Would you pay £30 for a 1000 piece puzzle? Unique designs. Great idea for a gift. Looking to set up a business and wondered what people would be prepared to pay. Thanks

Depends on the designs - are they personalied? If so yes, for a specific friend.

That's around the price point of Cloudberries jigsaw puzzles, which are similar to what you're intending I think. But there are lots of places where you can get 1000 piece puzzles for £15.99 or around that mark, so you'd have to have a reason for people to pay a premium for your puzzles.

I would happily pay that for a beautiful puzzle if it was to my taste too. Or something personalised that was good quality.

I love jigsaws and do them all the time but no, wouldn't pay that.

My mum pays a lot more than than for high quality jigsaws - wooden pieces with interesting shapes, for example. I'm not sure she'd want to pay that much for a cardboard one unless it was so interesting she couldn't get anything similar elsewhere for less. And I'm struggling to think of something that hasn't already been put on a jigsaw tbh!

I just paid £45 for a 5000 piece jigsaw but it was by Colin Thompson whose work fascinates me!

I buy Elena Essex puzzles which are around £20 for a 1000 piece and are beautiful designs. I also get 2 for £12 500 piece ones from the works that are good enough.
What sort of designs are you thinking about? There are so many available on amazon of all types of image and quality, but it doesn't mean yours wouldn't be viable of they were unique and marketed well.
