Universal credit - twice a month

Does anyone know if switching to two UC payments a month is that half the money paid two weeks earlier than usual or two weeks later?

Two weeks later.

They pay half on your usual payment date and half two weeks later.

Later.

You have your normal payment date, which right now give you a month’s payment. If you switch to 2 payments a month then that will still be your payment date, but you’ll get half on that date and then the second half 2 weeks later. That gives you your full payment.

Next payment date would be the same; half on that day then half 2 weeks later. Etc.
