I have an idiotic question about listening to music on my phone - please help!

I usually listen to the radio when I am running - I have the Nation Radio app on my phone and set of basic Bluetooth headphones.

In a couple of weeks, I am doing a running event in a wooded area where I'll almost certainly lose internet connection so the music will cut out. This happened at my last 10k and was annoying.

So I'm looking to have something downloaded on my phone so no internet connection needed. Any advice welcome!

(Told you it was idiotic....)

Download Spotify - you can even find running playlists. You then add the playlist to your library and can play it while offline.

BBC sounds - you can download radio sessions. I assume you can do this with other radio stations that have an app?

When I had the free Spotify you couldnt download anything, has that changed now?

Certainly on the paid for one you can download anything, books, podcast, music

Ah thanks. I might pay for Spotify then cancel.

It was just very tough getting halfway thru my 10k and then having nothing but my own breath to listen to!!
