Hi I've just been to see surgeon and been told I need a discectomy on L5S1...he said he's putting me at the top of his priority case list, even said at one point he's sorry he can't get me into today as he's no spaces left.....so my question....how long do you think til I have my operation and will I have preop appointment first? Just having a little freak out even though I am really really looking forward to being hopefully pain free (ISH) I am rather nervous....how long do I have to prepare?
