Shingles and immune supressed

So , my understanding is that one can't transmit shingles .
One can transmit the virus to someone who has never had chickenpox and they could develop chickenpox.
What is recommendation for visiting a person who has had chickenpox but is immune supressed?

1 Ask them
2 Make sure any blisters are covered (eg, under clothes) and not touched by the other person

I would also keep the windows open for ventilation. Going forward, get yourself the Shingles vaccine. It's a two hit vaccine, six months apart. I am immunosuppressed and had mine last week. Itchy, inflamed patch on my arm, but apart from that didn't feel that bad after it either.
