Not been for a few years and going with teen DD this week.
I need some new lids for the storage bowls we have and will get some freezer bags.
I always seem to miss things so happy for suggestions.

As soon as I saw the title my immediate thought was freezer bags 😅

If you need any hooks, I highly recommend these - only £1, stick on (no drilling required!) and are great for coats, dressing gowns etc. Once stuck on, the instructions say don't hang anything on them for 24 hours. GALTBOX rack with 3 hooks, self-adhesive/white - IKEA UK There's always loads of kitchen stuff at IKEA - mugs, glasses, plates etc, which is good value.

A socktopus!

ConverseAddict · 24/10/2025 23:24

Is that the hanging thing for socks? I’m too lazy for that. I just spread them on the dryer.

The hooks might be useful for DDs room, will go on the list.

I find the IKEA PRuta Food Container with Lid set useful in the kitchen. They are small, stackable containers which are perfect for single portion meals/saving left overs.

Some of those cinammon rolls, daim bars
oh and their sweets. Im a diet see. 😳

Newsenmum · 24/10/2025 23:26

Oh and those really good veggie balls, plant balls or meatballs. Big bag for the freezer.

Tdcp · 24/10/2025 23:43

Coat hangers and little bits and pieces that you wouldn't ever search to buy like a nice glass plate for myself and a teeny tiny espresso cup

No5ChalksRoad · 24/10/2025 23:53

I went there the other day and honestly wasn’t tempted by anything. Either IKEA has changed, or I have.

Teen DD says - buy a shark. And then another shark. A bigger one.

dont ask me why.

Redshoeblueshoe · 25/10/2025 00:04

If they still have salted liquorice then buy it.

NuffSaidSam · 25/10/2025 02:09

Some candles.

A wiper thing for the shower.

Some plant pots.

A new doormat.

Some of those clip things for sealing packets.

A Kallax unit and some boxes.

A big roll of paper.

Couple more candles.

Gingerbread Gifflar (sp?) - better than the cinnamon ones (food section)

CliveBixbee · 25/10/2025 06:21

A Skubb case for keeping all your wrapping paper, gifts tags etc together.

rollerblind · 25/10/2025 06:22

Clothes airer. Love the ikea ones

ConverseAddict · 25/10/2025 15:30

DD wants aliens, not sharks apparently.

Salted liquorice sounds good but I’m on a diet so less food!
