What do you and your DP call each other?

DP and I call each other exclusively by our first name. So did my parents. So does DD and her partner. But DS and his wife call each other "Love", and I have no idea where that comes from.

My love him to me, sweet or mr h only call him his name in serious or if I’m mad

With us it's the opposite. If I hear "Darling" I know I'm in big trouble.

Love, duck, dear, darling plus a variety of nick names, not all of them flattering😂

I call him pigface
He calls me poppy

Mostly baby. Honey, my darling, darling, my love or love.

If he uses my name it’s because we’re having a serious conversation about something.

We use first names mostly but also love and darling. Are you uncomfortable with terms of endearment?

Mostly “babe” which came from me telling him very early on that I hate terms of endearment 🙄🤣

I'm not sure! DP and I never got started with them (possibly because neither of us had experienced them with our parents), and I suppose I think it would feel a bit silly now.

If my OH calls me Babes I know I'm in his good books. He usually calls me by my initials, so do a few other people. If he uses my first name it sounds really weird coming from him 🤣

My husband calls me darling if he's calling for me. I'm not sure he knows my actual name... (kidding, I just can't remember the last time I heard it uttered by him!)😂I call him by his actual name, or maybe sweetheart on occasion, say if I wanted him to pass me something. But as a rule, we don't call each other anything really, we just speak.

I tend to call mine darling, mate or sweetheart. He calls me my darling. Occasionally I call him “Lovely (Name)” but that’s a joke between us.
