Hey ladies!! I havent used this account for a while, my sons are doing great Treeston has been doing better at school since the incident and Triden is a rascal as always but we love him. Anyway just looking for a bit of advice Triden has got very very attached to a small minion figurine and has started taking it everywhere, school, sports games, choir etc and he is inconsolable without it. It was fine at first but me and hubby are starting to get a little worried is this a sign of something? any advice or knowledge would be amazing. Thank youStar

Its a sign of being a perfectly normal child.
One of my children was attached to a toy for years. My other child went everywhere with a blanket/muslim they liked the smell of. I just had to make sure they never got left behind anywhere. When the toy/blanket needed a clean i got the kids to wash them in the bath, which they quite enjoyed. Now my kids are in their teens and these items, although still in their bedrooms, are largely forgotten about. That phase has gone.
Don't worry about it, just encourage your son to look after it and keep it safe as right now it means so much. Then one day he suddenly won't want it anymore
