Wrong Boots order- has anyone had this?

I ordered an advent calendar from Boots (one of the ones with products inside).

Today a box arrived but instead of my calendar, it's got someone else's order in- lots of mouthwash and dental care stuff. The box was addressed to me so presumably it's a mislabelling issue.

I've emailed Boots so hopefully they will send me the correct order soon but I wondered whether something similar had happened to anyone else. I'm slightly nervous that I can't prove that I didn't just take the calendar out and put the mouthwash in myself.

I hope they treat you properly. I have to say I had an order that Argos were supposed to deliver via Yodel on Saturday... I was home, but no one came and I gave them extra time but when nothing arrived I checked with my neighbours (who are all lovely) and no one had seen anything. Yodel said it was delivered but Argos investigated and refunded me the same day. Hope it's the same for you! I was very impressed to be fair.

Probably someone who was expecting a delivery of mouth wash and dental care items will also.be busy contacting them asking why they have been sent an advent calendar!

So annoying for you when a straightforward order ends up causing problems.

I must say I order stuff from Boots quite regularly, usually click and collect, and I've never had the wrong items sent. On one occasion though there was a hiccup with the staff at the shop not scanning the order in when they received it so it didn't appear in their system. That was a bit of a palaver.

I had a completely wrong order during lockdown and really needed the items I’d ordered.
They wanted me to go to a post office to send it back and I wasn’t able to due to caring for a family member.
They let me keep the products and I had to reorder my items.

I had an order with two expensive items missing, they are refusing to accept this and after I raised it with Resolver they are just continually sending replies asking for my details. Infuriating

I've also got an issue with Boots. Ordered 2 advent calanders but when I went to collect them only 1 had arrived. Told to go back the following weekend which I did, parcel still not arrived. Told to phone Boots.com - they insist that both parcels have been collected from the store, and I need to go there again and ask a member of staff to call Boots.com.

I've kindly suggested it would be far more convenient if they just called the store - I'm still waiting for a reply.
