Vinted customer has suspended transaction

I just sold someone a men’s designer top for a steal. It originally cost £120, was worn a couple of times, then my DH lost 3 stone and it’s too big.

I sold it in the end for £10, bargained down to this.

I’m waiting to see what the issue actually is, but I’m loathe to press the “keep it and the money will be refunded” button. It’s a great top, at a complete bargain price.

I’ve got great 5* reviews throughout. I don’t really want to look bad in my reviews though.

Advice please.

Usually it comes with a reason. Happened to me once when the parcel had burst open and the item got dirty. It happened in transit and we came to an agreement she would wash it and see how it turned out. It was fine and funds were released.

This is happening to me at the moment. The item I sold is waiting for the buyer to collect from his preferred drop off point but he’s suspended the transaction saying it hasn’t been delivered! No it’s not, because you wasn’t in so now you need to collect it from your preferred collection point- arghhh!

Just ask for a return if you are given that option, up to you if you pay the postage, then the buyer can’t leave a review. Maybe cynical of me but my guess is the buyer is going to say it’s a fake in the hope that Vinted will refund and they keep the item. Hope for your sake it isn’t but there’s a lot of not-so-nice people on there atm.
