Whats so good about a Premier Inn bed?

We stayed in one this weekend and DP mentioned several times how comfy it was.

I'd had some pop up advertising a few days previously about buying one for home, which I didn't know was a thing until recently and tbh expected it was just a branding thing.

But, DP was impressed and I agree it was a good bed. What is it that makes it so good?

I found the mattress comfy.
It's that simple.
The only thing I don't like is they are very high.
I am 5ft and it felt like I had to literally climb up the bed 😂

Yes, I was wondering what's different that makes it comfy. I.e. why aren't all beds like that?

Our mattress must be superb because we find PI ones to be ok at best but people seem to rave about them.

I have a Premier Inn bed
Like many things you get what you pay for with a mattress.

Im sure there are other mattresses which are as good or better, but the Premier Inn one was within my budget and I knew it suited me. Far less hassle than tramping round bed shops. Got the pillows as well.

Yes its high if you buy the whole bed but you can just get the mattress and buy a lower base separately.

My sons have extra deep mattresses on divan bases and they are really high as well.

I'm not on commission and have nothing to do with PI, but I love their mattresses. I researched them ages back and found that you can buy one for yourself if you want - https://www.premierinn.com/gb/en/sleep/buy-our-bed.html

They don’t squeak. 🤔

Use to be ok when they were Hypnos, can't use them anymore since they changed supplier as find them too hard. Surprised they're still offering it as a purchasable product, pretty sure it's just a bog standard Silentnight mattress with a topper now.

Agree that the new ones are hard as hell. The old ones were alright.
