Finding missing keys

What’s the best gadget? I try really hard to keep my keys in a specific drawer but getting two small children in from the car (and all their detritus) means sometimes I just dump them as I come in and toddler DD is in her “hiding things in bags” phase.

We already have a few air tags but I feel like a tile may be more useful on a keyring? Is there another gadget that’s better?

Why would an AirTag not be useful? I can "find" my key either by making it play a noise or by using the fine feature, which is a fun game of hotter/colder. You just need a keying thing to hold it in, lots on amazon.
Ive had a tile too but would never go back after getting an airtag

DH is an android user and is therefore very rude about me using AirTags on the children if we’re out and about, I suppose he’s just got in my head that they aren’t very good. But you’re right, they do do everything I want!
