I love the look of these little cars and they tick the boxes for me but the online rebate a bit hit and miss.

If you have one, what is your opinion?

They are not really that little, a small SUV. My sister had one she bought at 2 years old and she only kept it a year. It was fine for 2 adults and 2 primary age kids but she had another baby! Personally I think the 500 has character and the 500X is a poor attempt to keep that character whilst going bigger.

I thought this would be some kind of sex toy.

I suppose I'm comparing it to DH's, he has a Mazda MX-5 which I love to drive but just a bit too big for me for everyday driving.

I love the Fiat 500, however I currently own a Mini and now I am getting on a bit I want something a little bigger, higher up and 4 doors. Kids now late teens with their own cars so I am not bothered about passengers as that will only be an occasional concern.

I test drove one. I found the interior a bit plastic and the ride a bit rattly. I saw a hybrid version the other day that might be worth a look - as that's the way things are going now.
Disclosure - I have a Toyota Yaris hybrid. Try the Yaris Cross.
