So for my eldest. Youngest is 2 just after Christmas and plays with near enough anything! Doesnt have one specific love or interest she just likes loads

My eldest is 4 at the start of December. So its a double whammy for both kids aha!

But my main thing is. We've done the bulk of the occasion shopping (I call it this as christmas and birthdays close for both kids lol) but last year in October I get bluey things as DS loved bluey, we'd just been to cbeebies world and he was chuffed with. Bluey!

Christmas comes around - opens bluey things (I did only get 2 or 3 things) and he wasnt bothered and has not went near that since

Currently he likes paw patrol. Got into it earlier this year has the big van all the pups cars and pup figures. He does still like it but looking at smyths there's not too much like there's the Marshall fire engine (he has a million normal ones and a marshall) an airplane boat the pup tower thing etc and im on the fence. He does like ir currently but weve got for both occasions big play sets - a castle, pirate ship and a big scliech Volcano dino set. He has lots of play sets of stuff he likes overall waiting, magna tiles, marvel stuff (this is an underlying love hes loved superheros since about the age of 2 and still does)

How do I best approach this. Last minute paw patrol buys in December? If hes still arsed about it. Or get some now. We dont have the biggest house so im really on my lets get stuff we like, will use and have space for!

Quite a few Christmases/ birthdays in as a parent and still feel like im clueless

Does it have to be themed? Can you not get him something that has a bit more potential longevity like a bike or remote controlled car?

Not really! His other presents aren't strictly apart from the marvel stuff and what weve got is stuff he has mentioned so he loves castles (we visit quite a few national trust ones!) Loves pirate ships and Magna tiles. We got a robot as he s
