I have a few trusted favourites (work outs, swimming, cooking good food, yoga) but I would like to add to them.

Good books, nice perfume, new pyjamas , fresh bedding

Nature. Walks in the forest, park, anywhere green. Great views a bonus. Beaches too.
Meet up with friends. Especially close friends who chat about everything.

I get a facial every four to six weeks. I like how it feels and it’s so relaxing. The benefits to my skin are secondary.

My allotment, I won’t bore you, but I have a cutting flowers border, just nipped there this morning and got myself a gorgeous huge bunch of dahlias.

I don’t work Mondays, it’s a day I do whatever the hell I want. Literally.

I like meeting up with friends, going for walks and coffee etc but also like time on my own to read or just relax with the cat. I'm retired now so have plenty of time to do everything. I make a list of jobs I need to do every day and if they're not finished by lunchtime they get carried over to the next day.

I'm very lucky to live right by the sea so try to get a walk as often as possible weather permitting. I don't like cooking but force myself to try a new recipe every week. I also bake at the weekend.

Not a very exciting life but at 63 I'm glad to still be here.

A good book and some fancy biscuits. Listening to my favourite music 🎵

Going for long walks, as an ex postie I can't survive without walking every day.

Baking, I love the methodical nature of it and I can just zone out.

Crochet and embroidery, again it's something I can do and allow my brain to switch off.

My Alone Evening - once a week I do something by myself and no one is allowed to bother me. Can be as simple as having a long bath and watching a film, or more decadent like taking myself out for a meal or taking a class of some kind (glasswork recently, I've made some lovely sand blasted glass coasters!). I've had a lot of self hatred over the years so I'm taking the time to improve my relationship with myself.
