Just got back from Copenhagen yesterday! We go once a year! This weekend was particularly cold! Especially at night! You need layers! Inside restaurants/shops/museums in Denmark are lovely and warm, outside, deffo not as much! So you need things you can take off and put back on! Hat & gloves. Long sleeved tshirt, fleece, coat! Enjoy. It’s a beautiful country.

Oooh hope you had a lovely time! Thank you, it’ll probably be colder when I go too. Do you have any recommendations about places to visit? I’m going to Copenhagen too!

What is it that you enjoy doing?!

A good place to go for beer and ‘meat’ type food is WarPigs in the meat packing district! Close by to that is also a little bar on the corner called Two Socks - it’s small but so cosy and lovely! I’d recommend a trip on the train into Malmo if you’ve never been - there’s a food hall there a short walk from the train station and that’s beautiful food - gets busy with Swedish families on a weekend morning which always tells me somethings nice!

Don’t bother with the little mermaid! It’s shite! If you go on a boat trip from Nyhavn you’ll see it anyway! I recommend the churros on Nyhavn also!

Tivoli’s is my favourite ‘theme park’ in the world and iv been to lots! It’s just so pretty - that’s the actual reason we always go to Copenhagen in October - for Tivoli Halloween! It’s amazing - also LOADS of nice eateries in there! Their toffee popcorn is to die for!

The Round Tower is a good hour and relatively cheap!

Freetown Christiania is erm interesting!

One thing I would definitely recommend is a company called Politically Incorrect Walking Tours - they are brilliant! If you can get booked on with them it’ll cost you about £3 but you then pay a tip - they are so funny and really really interesting - you’ll probably see more of the ‘sights’ on one of these than doing it yourself!
