Japan
Solo female
May 2026 or 2027
Direct flights
Tokyo and two other destinations (any welcome but to see the sea of Japan would be nice)
Rail transfers
Hotels with private bathroom and bedroom only i.e not hostels or pod hotels - non negotiable
Around 10 nights
Booked with a tailored travel agent

I'm assuming around £3,500. Is this accurate?

It would be a good deal that’s for sure
but doable
spending money? As you’ll be buying all food

AmericaIsSoAwesome · 19/10/2025 18:12

Yes spending money would be seperate probably around £1,500

Have you looked at package trips like Riviera? Often for this type of thing they can be cheaper than you can put together separetly.

To be that sounds more like a £5k trip??? Japan is far

Sounds about right to me. I'm going to Japan as a solo female next month. My 3.5 week trip has cost £5k (obviously without spending money!). So for a shorter trip in the spring I would say you are bang on.

What does that £5k include?
