Skincare for tweens

My DS9 has just started getting blackheads and a few little spots. I don't want to make a fuss about it as he hasn't particularly worried about it yet, but I was wondering if anyone has any cleanser/face wash/other skincare products they'd recommend for a 9 year old boy? I think my blemish products for my perimenopausal skin might be a bit too harsh!

What’s your budget? DD used Spots & Stripes at that age, it was very gentle and did a good job. It’s online only though.

Mine was more teen than tween, but a cleanser solved most of the problems - we're on Nivea, but there are also ones branded for teens.

We also have a tub with tea tree oil infused cotton pads (bought) which are used sporadically if required - whatever is on offer when required.

I was looking at those but thought I would check for some opinions before I took the plunge given the price.... I don't have a specific budget, just want to find something that works without being too harsh. Thanks for the recommendation!
