There’s always been timewasters and people trying it on but most people are normal and sometimes you have a pleasant chat when they collect stuff. But recently people just seem so off. A couple of examples-
I had a message from someone saying could they buy an item next week, with a reduction, when they got paid. I said yes, if it’s not sold by then. They then sent me messages all week, then apologised for messaging me, then started again. In the end I blocked them because I was fed up of the notifications. I sold the item to someone else, then I started getting messages from a new account saying they’d waited patiently and could they come collect the item. I said the item’s sold, cue lots more messages til I block them too.
Another person sent a load of voice messages, as you can do that now on Facebook, then seemed surprised I didn’t reply. I can barely be bothered to listen to voice messages from people I actually know!
Has anyone had this? I’ve sold small bits for family etc over the years who aren’t online much but just finding people so annoying at the moment.
