Hi,
Has anyone been to the theatre with older teens recently and seen anything amazing. Maybe something with comedy?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Every Brilliant Thing is excellent.

Depending on tastes the hip-hop Bacchae at the National is also meant to be excellent - my 16 year old saw it the other day and really enjoyed it.

Book of Mormon!

I mean, this is hilarious but I’m not sure I wouldn’t have wanted to be watching it with my mUm when I was a teen!!!

Went to see Bacchae yesterday - audience was very young. It was brilliant.
I saw it with a friend who is head of a sixth form. He said that he wishes all his students could see it because they would love it.

Stranger things "The first shadow" is AMAZING!!

Hamilton was amazing but we’d watched it on Disney and googled all the bits of history we didn’t know so it made sense. Fabulous show live.

The Play that Goes Wrong by Mischief Theatre, on at the Duchess Theatre, is a treat

Cabaret is probably the best thing I've ever seen on West End. Go early, dress up, but it might depend on the age of your teens as to whether it appeals.

I'm going to see Austentatious in a few weeks and then Stranger Things I think.

Hamilton
Les Mis
Cabaret

Best shows on the West End imo.

I’ve got tickets to see Bacchae in half term with my 17 year old who is studying classics! Good to see it was enjoyed!

Anything by the Mischief Theatre (the recent Comedy About Spies was hilarious, if it’s still on).

Hamilton, of course! Any musical really if they are familiar with the music.
