May I have your downsizing tips?

Downsizing from a three-bedroom house with two reception rooms and a large shed to a two-up, two-down with very small garden. Have done quite well with clothes and books but there's just so much miscellany. The shed is full of DIY and gardening stuff and bikes. The second bedroom is full of work-related paraphernalia and craft stuff and the third bedroom is full of suitcases, bedding, old board games and a huge collection of Lego I don't know what to do with. Under the stairs is a huge cupboard with Christmas decorations, sports stuff and camping equipment.

Help!

Either get a skip or ruthlessly declutter and do tip runs.

Will you need/use all the gardening stuff, craft stuff and bedding. I gave craft stuff to the local primary school and animal charities sometimes take bedding. I’d take decent board games to a charity shop, or throw out and perhaps you can sell the Lego.

Do you need the work related stuff still? I had a craft room, now I have a cupboard. We seriously culled books etc and we sold furniture. We still had too much and had to sell more when we moved.

Less is definitely more when you’re downsizing.
